There is a lot to be said about puzzles. Puzzles come in many different sizes, colors, dimensions, themes and shapes. Pieces range from double digits into the thousands. People purchase them according to the amount of time and mental energy which they're willing to invest. Positvely beam with the success of completion. Or pack it up redo it some other day.
The problems with puzzles are varied. Missing pieces offend one's vision and tax imagination. Multiples of the same color scheme with a mere bit of difference in size or cut challenges even veterans. More pieces means less options to differ in size and shape for distinguishing differences. Many people throw their hands up and box it away onto the back of a shelf. Masters of puzzles step away until the need to create order from chaos returns to them.
This is as it is in our lives. Each person is cut from a pattern which only the great Creator understands. For all of life, we try to fit into the shape which is easiest to complete. The quick and user friendly version. Just a few simple pieces crammed into the trend of the day and all should be wonderful. Not so.
Then, our diversities and differences makes us each beautiful yet causes us to have many more pieces to keep together. Life comes along, shakes us a bit, and suddenly there are pieces missing and broken. All frustrated, we simply wish to walk away or hide from crisis. The beauty is gone and it is too hard to find the energy to desire to see it beyond the pain. We don't know why the pieces couldn't remain in place. Where the pieces have fallen is beyond our imagination. Repairing broken pieces is too complicated.
The Master of Puzzles. The Creator of Us. He is the One to whom we are to look for healing and mending.. He is the one who creates newness of life when the old life is dead and gone.
Step back. Let the Master step forward. The puzzle will be beautiful and complete. All in His time.
